Denta Water & Infra IPO allotment was expected to be finalized by today ahead of its listing tomorrow (January 29). The issue, which closed for bidding on January 24, was oversubscribed 221.52 times.
The declaration of results was delayed caused by heavy website traffic as the investors waited anxiously "We are in the process of uploading the allotment details, which may be completed within the next half to one hour on the website. The delay was also caused by heavy website traffic," an official at the registrar's Chennai office told Moneycontrol earlier today.
Earlier, the company raised over Rs 66 crore from anchor investors. The public issue was priced in a band of Rs 279 - Rs 294 per share and consisted entirely of a fresh issue of 75 lakh equity shares, aggregating Rs 220.5 crore at the upper end of the price band.
Investors who subscribed to the IPO can check the allotment status on the registrar's official website, Integrated Registry Management Services, using their application number or PAN details. The status can also be accessed on the BSE and NSE websites.

According to market observers, Denta Water & Infra shares are commanding a GMP of nearly 25 percent in the unofficial market. Investorgain quoted a GMP of Rs 72 for the shares of the company, translating to a potential listing premium of 24.48 percent. However, the final price may differ on the listing day.
Proceeds to the extent of Rs 150 crore will be utilised to meet working capital requirements, and a portion will be used for general corporate purposes.
