Order intake good; consumer cos placing orders, see traction in chemical Ind: Thermax

MS Unnikrishnan, MD, Thermax in an interview to CNBC-TV18 spoke about the third quarter performance and the outlook going forward.

He is a very satisfied with the Q3 performance of the company and said in the quarter the order intake was very positive, adding that for the first 9 months of the fiscal year the order intake has gone up by 47 percent and the order book has gone up by 27 percent. The enquiry pipeline is also improving, he said.

The revenues for the company in Q3 were good

He said the consumption sector companies have started placing orders without worries about economy or election etc. In the medium-sized projects there has been traction in chemical and fertilizer industry.
