Bajaj Electricals reported a weak set of earnings. In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Shekhar Bajaj, CMD of the company spoke about the results.
He said that consumer durables declined due to restructuring. However, profitability and margins have improved in FY17.
He further said that the company is looking at 20 percent growth in EPC business in FY18.
EPC and luminaries to reach revenue of Rs 2,500 crore in FY18, added Bajaj.
He also said that Q1 likely to be a flat quarter with regards to consumer durables growth.
Margins will be better going forward, he added.
