Just Dial's first quarter net profit grew by 30.84 percent quarter-on-quarter (68.3 percent on yearly basis) to Rs 28 crore.


Total income from operations increased 6.4 percent sequentially (up 28 percent Y-o-Y) to Rs 104.6 crore during April-June quarter.
Other income was up at Rs 7.32 crore in June quarter as against Rs 6.41 crore in previous quarter and Rs 1.94 crore in a year ago period while tax expenses jumped to Rs 11.30 crore during the first quarter from Rs 8.14 crore in March quarter and Rs 7.51 crore in corresponding quarter of last fiscal. Just Dial that is a local search engine provides comprehensive updated information on all B2B and B2C products and services reported its earnings for the first time after it got listed in June.
The company had raised around Rs 900 crore through the IPO in May by issuing 1,74,97,458 equity shares at Rs 530 apiece to qualified institutional buyers & non-institutional investors, and at Rs 483 apiece to retail investors.
