Bharti Airtel is likely to see a growth of 13.3 percent in its January-March quarter net profit at Rs 1265 crore from Rs 1116.9 crore inlast quarter. According to a CNBC-TV18 poll, its revenue may marginally rise 3 percent at Rs 24776 crore compared to Rs 24065.9 crore on sequential basis.
During the period, EBITDA may stand at Rs 8640 crore against Rs 8474.8 crore quarter-on-quarter. In percentage terms, EBITDA may come in at 34.9 percent against 35.2 percent QoQ.
The telecom service provider's India wireless business may fetch revenue of Rs 14428 crore in Q4FY16 up 3.2 percent against Rs 13975 crore (QoQ). EBITDA may be at 38.8 percent (or Rs 5605 crore) compared to 38.9 percent (Rs 5435.3 crore).
Average revenue per user (ARPU) may remain unchanged at Rs 192 while volume may see a growth of 3.3 percent at 300 billion minutes versus 290.5 billion minutes (QoQ). IN Q4, voice revenue per minute may stay at 33.5 paise versus 33.75 paise (QoQ). Pricing has been under pressure for the last six quarters on voice. The inndustry is making small attempts at stabilising voice and data tariffs and this should slowly stem the decline
Its Africa business may fetch revenue of Rs 6446 crore against Rs 6250.6 crore (QoQ), up 3.13 percent. EBITDA in Q4 is seen at Rs 1337 crore (or 20.74 percent) versus Rs 1332 crore (or 21.25 percent) on sequential basis. This is a seasonally weak quarter for Africa, hence dollar revenue growth is seen flat.
