ITC plans to open new hotel in Sri Lanka within 5 years

Cigarettes-to-hotels major ITC is looking to set shop in Sri Lanka within the next 5 years, says chairman YC Deveshwar. Besides that, he also said Indian conglomerate will open new hotels in Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Amritsar, Delhi and Chennai.  “There's one that has come up, Fortune Hotel in Bangalore. So there are many projects underway. There's a second hotel in Calcutta,” he told CNBC-TV18.
