Triveni Engineering & Industries Ltd has informed BSE that the Company has on January 12, 2011 signed a renewal of its License Agreement for a term of twelve years with Lufkin Industries Inc., Lufkin, Texas, USA to manufacture high speed gear and gear boxes.
The new License Agreement inter-alia covers manufacture of extended range of Steam Turbine gear boxes upto 62 MW, gear boxes for compressors and load gear boxes for gas turbines apart from gear boxes for mechanical drives like Pumps, Fans and Blowers driven by Electric Motor, Steam Turbine or Diesel Engine. The geographical coverage under the agreement has also been extended to cover major markets in South East Asia such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand. | | Source : BSE |
