Shares of drugmaker Strides Arcolab rose more than 19% on Tuesday after the company said it received US FDA approval to manufacture vancomycin injections at its new facility in Bangalore.

The company plans to manufacture all its approved sterile injectables from this facility and subsequently launch them in the US, it said in a statement.
