The Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has come down hard on real estate developer Unitech over two delayed residential projects in the state, reports CNBC-TV18.The chief minister is looking to set up a committee to analyse the assets and liabilities of the company.One of Unitech's two projects has been delayed for over five years. The company has extended the delivery time of about 1,100 flats a sixth time.
In case Unitech doesn't adhere to its revised timeline, the state will even consider attaching company's assets and lodge an FIR.
Some of the aggrieved home buyers also say the company has allegedly siphoned off their money and put it in commercial projects.
