ONGC divestment likely in November-end: Sources

The government is targeting the last week of November for its stake sale from Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited. The roadshows for the divestment will commence soon after the company reports its second quarter numbers.

The government is also likely to provide clarity on the subsidy sharing mechanism prior to the roadshow.

The divestment drive, government sources say, is not linked to the appointment of three independent directors.
