Hyundai on January 16 unveiled the much-awaited facelifted Creta, its popular SUV, in the Indian market. The carmaker has already revealed the Hyundai Creta SUV with major design upgrades, new features, and a new engine option.
The Creta accounted for 21 percent of Hyundai Motor India's total sales, with 900,000 units sold since FY2016.
The Creta had a share of 31 percent in the mid-size SUV segment in 2023. In the last eight-and-a-half years, one Creta has been sold every five minutes in India, says Hyundai India COO Tarun Garg said.
This mid-size SUV competes with Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, and the soon-to-be-released Tata Curvv.
On January 2, the automobile behemoth commenced reservations for the latest iteration of its Creta car.
