Audi Q6 e-tron global unveil scheduled for March 18: Here’s what we know so far

Based on the Premium Platform Electric that also underpins the Porsche Macan EV, the Audi Q6 e-tron is all set to take the world by storm

The Audi Q6 e-tron is generating quite a buzz with its impending debut, and it seems the German automaker has carefully curated an electric SUV that promises to deliver on several fronts. Audi has now confirmed that the Q6 e-tron is all set to debut globally on March 18, 2024. Developed in collaboration with Porsche and built on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture, this electric SUV will mark the eighth EV in the international market from Audi’s stable.

The Q6 is essentially a Q5-sized electric SUV and in terms of design, sports styling is very similar to the larger Q8 e-tron, albeit a little milder than the aggression seen on the latter. The front sports a new set of split headlamps, the kind that is not common on Audis yet, and the ‘Bulgarian Beard’ grille is closed off as it always is on electric cars. The side profile reveals a rakish roofline for enhanced sportiness and a set of wide haunches can be seen when viewed from the rear.
