Sreeleela is quite the glamorous girl who loves to sport traditional outfits with a modern spin. True to her style, she strikes a balance between the two worlds — and her saree looks are no different.
Recently, the actress caught everyone's attention at the Waves Summit by donning an ivory saree from Dolly J Studio, priced at Rs 1.8 lakh. She looked ethereal in the chiffon saree, adorned with Kamdani jaal and a pearl-embroidered border.
What truly stood out was the pairing of the traditional saree with a modern halter-neck blouse that showed off her back. The blouse, beautified with tulle embroidery, added a chic appeal. The actress looked every bit elegant in the well-draped silhouette.
While she skipped most jewellery, her statement earrings and sleek bangles did the trick, adding just the right amount of dazzle. Her glowy, dewy makeup, with a sunkissed golden finish, enhanced her features—complemented by a soft pink lipstick.
Another standout element of her styling was the braid. Her hair was given volume at the crown before being tied into a relaxed, slightly messy braid, giving her a regal appearance.
Many other celebs, including Shreya Ghoshal, Nimrat Kaur, and Manushi Chhillar, attended the Waves Summit dressed in traditional ensembles—especially sarees.
Alia Bhatt’s saree look especially caught the eye. She wore a Nauvari saree by designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla.
The designers detailed Alia’s look on Instagram, sharing: “Alia made a stellar appearance in custom Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla at WAVES (World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit, 2025). Handwoven by the talented artisans of Tulsi Weaves, her Paithani from the Yeola town of Maharashtra took 75 days to make.”
It further read: “Styled in the classic Nauvari drape, the saree is the epitome of traditional workmanship and contemporary elegance. It is paired with a custom sleeveless blouse, hand-embroidered in Resham, pearls, and crystals.”
