Office-goers will attest to this that having one samosa on pretty much a daily basis is just the norm. When one is swamped with work, one rarely gives a conscious thought to what they are eating. Stuffed with potatoes and fried in oil (which we don't know how old it is), a Delhi-based cardiologist's, Dr Shailesh Singh, post about 'Rs 20 samosa Vs Rs 3 lakh angioplasty' has gained a lot of traction.

He shares that the average cost of samosa is around Rs 20. For someone who eats it regularly, that is at least 300 times in a year, for over a period of 15 years, he would end up spending over Rs 90,000. One would think that it is such a nominal cost. However, the doctor has a warning here. He said, “You’re not saving money on unhealthy food... you’re taking a loan against your arteries at 400% interest.” Well, if you didn't get the cue, then you must know that he was talking about the Rs 3 lakh loan that one would have to take for angioplasty.
