Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus, stars Rohit Purohit and Samridhii Shukla in the leading roles as Armaan and Abhira. There is high voltage drama and the audience cannot have enough of the show.
The current storyline is extremely interesting as Abhira has come to know the truth about Myra and she is enjoying her time there while Armaan is left alone. On the other hand, Anshuman is keen to get married to Abhira now that he has united her with Myra.
Parallel to this, Krish has developed a special connection with Myra. The role is played by Rishabh Jaiswal.
He has become a household name with his presence on the show. According to a report in Bollywood Life, Rishabh had auditioned for Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai before too but he did not get the part.
As per the report, the publication stated that Rishabh had initially auditioned for the lead role of Armaan which was played by Shehzada Dhami and later Rohit Purohit was roped in for the same. The makers thought he would be perfect for the role of Krish.
The outlet quoted him as, "Mene YRKKH ke Armaan ke role ke liye audition kiya tha, but eventually Rajan Sir chahte the main Krish play karu because I was not that mature then. So ye bohat achi opportunity thi jo mujhe di gayi, and I think I'll always be grateful for Rajan Sir and DKP production for that."

Rishabh also revealed that he is glad that people know him as Krish. He mentioned that one opportunity can change everything for an actor. He also mentioned that he prefers Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai over other projects as it has a shoot of 25 days in a month.
