Who is Muskan Nancy James, who filed an FIR against her sister-in-law and actress Hansika Motwani for alleged interference in marital life

Muskan Nancy James is a TV actress who has recently made headlines due to her allegations against her husband Prashant Motwani, his mother Jyoti, and his sister, actress Hansika Motwani. She filed a complaint accusing them of domestic violence and interfering in her marital life. Muskan and Prashant, who are married, have been living separately for the past two years after their marriage in 2021. Their relationship reportedly started facing problems just a year after the wedding.

Muskan's acting career began in 2006, and she gained recognition through various supporting roles on TV. Her big break came with the show Mata Ki Chowki in 2008, where she played the lead role until 2011. She later appeared in several other popular shows like Adaalat, Crime Patrol, and Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap. Her last appearance on television was in 2015 in the show Agent Raghav – Crime Branch, after which she stayed away from the screen.

According to reports, Muskan filed a police complaint on December 18, 2024, at Mumbai's Amboli Police Station, under sections related to cruelty, causing hurt, criminal insult, intimidation, and common intention. In her complaint, Muskan accused her mother-in-law Jyoti and sister-in-law Hansika of excessive interference in her marriage, which, she claims, strained her relationship with Prashant. She also alleged that her in-laws demanded expensive gifts and engaged in fraudulent activities regarding property matters.
