Vivek Agnihotri, known for his critically acclaimed films The Kashmir Files and The Vaccine War, revealed that years of exhaustive research led to the creation of The Delhi Files. Agnihotri emphasized that the narrative was too powerful to be contained in just one part. Thus, he decided to split it into two to do justice to the story.
