Vishnu Manchu is all set for the release of his highly anticipated grand mythological film, Kannappa. During an interview, the actor has addressed concerns regarding the screen time of some of the film’s big-name stars, ensuring fans that their roles in the movie are much more than mere fleeting appearances.

Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, the movie is an action-packed drama inspired by the legendary tale of Kannappa, an atheist hunter who becomes a devoted worshipper of Lord Shiva. The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, and Mohanlal, in significant roles that promise to leave a lasting impact on audiences.

In a recent interview with 123Telugu, Vishnu Manchu clarified the screen time of the big stars featured in the film. He stated, “If you think the stars are just there for namesake, then you are absolutely wrong. People will definitely say the stars got more scope than their own films. They are just not restricted to cameos. You are wrong if you think they will be present hardly for 2-3 minutes.”

Vishnu plays the titular character, Kannappa, whose unwavering devotion to Lord Shiva leads him to sacrifice his own eyes as an act of faith.
