Vishnu Manchu's upcoming mythological drama, Kannappa, has generated a lot of buzz due to the involvement of some of the biggest stars in Indian cinema. Among them are Telugu superstar Prabhas and Malayalam legend Mohanlal, who will appear in special roles as Rudra and Kirata, respectively. Recently, Vishnu shared some surprising news in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter about their involvement in the film.

Vishnu revealed that both Prabhas and Mohanlal waived their remuneration for their roles in Kannappa. He explained that neither of the two superstars needed any special convincing to be part of the movie. They were happy to shoot for the film despite the challenging schedules, and they agreed to take on the roles out of respect and affection for Vishnu’s father, veteran actor Mohan Babu. Vishnu was touched by their generosity, saying, “They did it out of love for my dad. In fact, they both didn’t charge a single penny. They are both so big that they didn’t need to do this character.”
