Several Bollywood celebrities, including Vicky Kaushal, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, Esha Deol, Rohit Shetty, among others, have recently taken to their social media to wish their dads on International Father’s Day. They shared a heartwarming photo with their fathers with a sweet tribute on Sunday.
Varun shared a photo with his daughter, Lara, as she seems to take her first steps. He also added photos with her dad, David Dhawan and wrote in the caption, “Happy Father’s Day to all the new dads in town and to my dad who literally taught me everything.”
He added, “Pa I value all our conversations, laughs , arguments and cricket talks. I’m so happy to be able to get the oppurtunity to work with you again. I’m still a work in progress but I hope when I’m your age my kid finds me as cool as I find you.”
Sidharth also shared a photo with his father and wrote in the tribute, “So much of who I am today is because of everything you’ve done and stood for. The values you lived by, the strength you showed, and the quiet wisdom in your actions - they built the foundation of my life.”
The actor continued, “Thank you for being my first hero, my silent guide, and the reason I strive to be better every day. Happy Father’s Day, dad.” He also shared a throwback photo of his father in an Indian Navy outfit.
Vicky Kaushal took to his Instagram and shared a sweet photo with his father. He ditched writing a lengthy paragraph on Father’s Day and simply added a white heart.
Actress Ananya Panday penned a tribute to her father, Chunky Panday. She shared a series of fun photos and videos with her father and wrote in the caption, “Happy Father’s Day Papatiiiii, first love, best friend, twin, partner in everything. I love you forever.”
Filmmaker Rohit Shetty shared a split video featuring a clip from his appearance on KBC and a movie scene of his father, M.B. Shetty. He wrote, “When decades have passed, but your father's colleagues still remember him for his work. Something to be proud of.”
Suniel Shetty shared a childhood photo with his father and penned, "No big post. No fancy words. Just a heart full of gratitude and a quiet thank you... For the love that never asked for anything in return. For being my first hero, my silent strength, My forever home. Happy Father's Day."
Bobby Deol shared a picture alongside Dharmendra and captioned it, “The man I am, the love I give and the strength I hold are all a reflection of you. Happy Father's Day! Love you Papa.”
Esha Deol also wished her father, Dharmendra and husband, Bharat Takhtani, on the special day. She shared a photo of the duo and wrote, “Happy Father’s Day. Here with my darling papa & Dada to my babies.”
Sunny Deol wrote, "Happy Father's Day, Papa. Your strength, your love, and your endless guidance have shaped the man. I am today. Proud to be your son- always walking in your footsteps. Love you forever. #FathersDay."
Diana Penty posted a picture of her late father and penned, “Our last photo together - Royal China, September 2007. Doing what you loved most: enjoying some good food! Safe to say I've got your genes, Daddy."
