Veteran actor Rajendra Prasad tragically lost his daughter Gayatri earlier today. She had complained of chest pain and was rushed to a corporate hospital in Hyderabad late last night. Despite the doctors’ efforts, she passed away during treatment.
Rajendra Prasad, who was on a film set at the time, rushed to the hospital but she tragically passed away. Gayatri, who was 38 years old, will have her last rites performed today in Hyderabad.
This loss has left the entire family in deep shock. Rajendra Prasad, who has a son and a daughter, previously shared that he did not speak to Gayatri for some time after her love marriage but eventually reconciled with her. Their bond was a topic he had spoken about emotionally at a press event.

Reports suggest that Gayatri had initially experienced gastric discomfort and was admitted to AIG Hospital in Hyderabad. However, she suffered a massive heart attack around 12:40 AM, and despite the doctors’ best efforts, she could not be saved. Gayatri leaves behind her daughter, Sai Tejaswini, who had acted as a child artist.
The sudden loss of his only daughter has deeply affected Rajendra Prasad, and several of his colleagues from the film industry have visited his home to offer their condolences and support during this difficult time.
