Ulajh box office collection: After a dull first week, Janhvi Kapoor starrer struggles to earn Rs 5 crore in three days

The film, which stars Janhvi Kapoor as Suhana, a young Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer, received a mixed bag of reviews. While some appreciated Kapoor's performance and the film's narrative, others felt it fell short of expectations. An excerpt from the Hindustan Times review states, “Janhvi, expectedly, dominates each and every frame of this Sudhanshu Saria directorial. She begins the film with a certain earnestness as the girl who won’t stay quiet sitting amidst her seniors in front of a minister, and even blackmails him. That the same tactic comes back to bite her later, is clever.”
One of the primary challenges faced by 'Ulajh' was the mixed critical reception. While Janhvi Kapoor's performance was noted as a strong point, the film's overall execution did not resonate well with a large section of the audience. - Evening shows: 34.93 percent

- Night shows: 22.45 percent
These figures suggest that while there was a slight increase in the evening, it was not enough to significantly boost the overall box office performance.
'Ulajh' is directed by Sudhanshu Saria and features a talented ensemble cast, including Janhvi Kapoor, Roshan Mathew, and Gulshan Devaiah. The film follows Suhana, the youngest Deputy High Commissioner, who is labeled as a product of nepotism by her colleagues. She must navigate corporate blackmail and doubts over her capabilities, adding layers of intrigue and drama to the story.

 
The film also stars Adil Hussain, Roshan Mathew, and Meiyang Chang, adding depth to the storyline with their performances. 'Ulajh' is produced by Vineet Jain and co-produced by Amrita Pandey under the banner of Junglee Pictures.
