Nidhi Shah, the actress from Anupamaa recognised for her role as Kinjal Shah in the hit series, is in the news following rumours of an affair between her and her former co-star Gaurav Khanna, who portrayed Anuj Kapadia. Gaurav, frequently referred to as a ‘green flag’, is wed to Akanksha Chamola and has yet to comment on the persistent rumours, while Nidhi opted to speak out.
The dispute arose when social media users observed Nidhi liking Instagram posts that ridiculed Gaurav’s Bigg Boss 19 victory and implied he was unworthy of the trophy. Her preferences swiftly sparked a flurry of conjecture and assumptions, particularly due to their previous on-screen collaboration in Anupamaa, as stated by the Free Press Journal.
Adding to the excitement, one user remarked, “They’ve been involved in a relationship throughout Anupamaa.” Nidhi replied sharply and with sarcasm, saying, “Oh, you know everything,” paired with laughing emojis, stated the report.

At the same time, Gaurav Khanna was questioned about critics of his Bigg Boss 19 experience, asserting he added little but still emerged victorious. Responding to the criticism, he stated, “I simply want to express one thing to them. I wasn't present to satisfy 15 individuals inside. I was present to satisfy the 150 crore audience observing me, and in some way, I have made an impression; I have resonated with them, which is why they cast their votes for me. They consistently voted for me because these 15 guys in there nominated me each week."
Gaurav Khanna emerged as the champion of Bigg Boss 19, securing the trophy and the ₹50 lakh reward, attributed to his composed attitude and steady performance. The season's top five finalists included Gaurav Khanna, Farrhana Bhatt, Tanya Mittal, Amaal Mallik, and Pranit More. Farrhana Bhatt was announced as the second-place winner.
