‘Modern Family’ star Jesse Tyler Ferguson recently shared a picture on his Instagram story. The story was of a house, but it was not just any house, it was the Dunphy house.
The hit sitcom ‘Modern Family’ might be seeing a cast reunion on the horizon and we absolutely can’t wait.
The sitcom ended its 11 season run in 2020 and ever since then fans have been rewatching, and rewatching, and rewatching the family show on Disney+ Hotstar. Fans have been hoping for more content related to the show since ages and Jesse Tyler Ferguson is finally feeding the starving ‘Modern Family’ fandom.
The actor, who plays Mitchell Pritchett, recently uploaded an Instagram story of the Dunphy house with the caption - “Haven’t seen this view in a while.”
This story singlehandedly sent the fandom on a rollercoaster of emotions. Some excited for a reunion, others upset over how much they miss the show.
One user on X (Formerly Twitter) wrote, “when they do a reunion and haley has divorced dylan and is now back together with andy… walk with me.”
Another added, “zero complaints if they run it back for 100 more seasons.”
“if modern family comes back i’m sorry for the person ill become,” another user wrote.
The possibility of a spinoff or a reunion is obviously exciting but this story could also just be Jesse reminiscing about the good ol’ days.
A spinoff focusing on Mitchell, Cameron and their daughter Lilly was being developed by ABC Entertainment Group. However, much to the fans’ disappointment, the plans for the spinoff fell apart for unknown reasons.
