Sundarakanda, Nara Rohith's most recent film, has officially made its way to OTT following its theatrical run. To the delight of those who were unable to see it in theaters, the romantic comedy went live on JioHotstar today, September 23, 2025.
On X (formerly Twitter), the platform announced the update with the following post: "No two love stories are the same! Prepare to enjoy #Sundarakanda exclusively on JioHotstar starting on September 23rd!
The main character of the oddball romantic comedy Sundarakanda is Siddhartha, a 40-year-old lecturer and unyielding bachelor who won't budge from his five strict requirements for the perfect life partner. When he develops feelings for Eira, a young college student, his entire world changes. When his childhood sweetheart, Vaishnavi, reappears in his life, things become even more complicated.
The story investigates whether Siddhartha can let love into his heart at last or if his ideals will keep him imprisoned.

Nara Rohith plays the main character in the movie, with Virti Vaghani and Sridevi Vijaykumar providing support. Vasuki Anand, Naresh Vijay Krishna, Sathya, Ajay, VTV Ganesh, Abhinav Gomatam, Raghu Babu, and Raghu Karumanchi are also part of the ensemble cast.
Under the auspices of Sandeep Picture Palace, the film was produced by Santhosh Chinnapolla, Gowtham Reddy, and Rakesh Mahankalli and directed and written by Venkatesh Nimmalapudi. Leon James is the composer, Rohan Chillale is the editor, and Pradeesh M. Varma is in charge of the photography.

Critics gave Sundarakanda mixed reviews when it came out in theaters, praising its whimsical idea but pointing out that it was treated in a cliched manner.
Nara Rohith starred in the action drama Bhairavam prior to Sundarakanda. The movie was a remake of the Tamil hit Garudan, and Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas and Manchu Manoj co-starred. With Rohith playing a gritty supporting role, it examined themes of friendship, loyalty, and betrayal.
Fans can now enjoy the actor in a more romantic and lighthearted role from the comfort of their homes thanks to Sundarakanda's streaming availability.
