Former cricketer Sourav Ganguly, who is currently winning hearts as the host of the Bengali reality show Dadagiri, is reportedly gearing up to anchor two major non-fiction shows, blending entertainment with intellect for Bengali audiences.
In an exclusive interview with News18 Bangla, Sourav has announced that he is set to exit from the reality show Dadagiri that he was hosting on Zee Bangla.
As per India Times report, Sourav Ganguly is likely to host Bigg Boss Bangla and a new quiz show which is untitled as of now. Reportedly, the production of these two shows is expected to begin in early July 2025.
As per the latest reports, Sourav Ganguly has reportedly signed a four-year contract with Star Jalsha, valued at Rs 125 crore.
In a conversation with the portal, Sourav Ganguly shared that he sees television as a distinctive medium to engage with the audience and expressed his excitement about hosting the upcoming reality shows. "Television has always given me a special way to connect with people, and it gives me great pleasure to associate with the channel as we begin a new chapter of storytelling through innovative non-fiction programming," he said while speaking to India Times.

Sourav Ganguly also expressed that he has always valued the importance of connecting with people beyond just cricket, and shared that this new collaboration offers him the opportunity to do so by delving into new formats and sharing real, inspiring stories that also entertain.
