Singer Sonu Nigam is enjoying the success of his new song Pardesiya from the upcoming, Param Sundari, which has become viral. Fans are falling head over heels for his stellar vocals and the stunning landscapes of Kerala.
The song features Sidharth Malhotra, to whom Sonu has lent voice for the first time, with the singer calling the combination great respect.
During a recent appearance on The Sonal Karla Show Season 2, produced by Gautam Thakker Films, Sonu Nigam shared his admiration for Sidharth. The singer said, “This romantic song is working very well. It’s the first time I've sung for Sidharth, and it’s suiting him so well. He’s looking so good in the song, and it feels like he’s actually singing. I’m really thankful to God for all the love.”
The singer then reflected on the emotional reaction of the audience’s overwhelming response. He added, “I was reading all the messages I was getting for Pardesiya. I was crying, literally sobbing in gratitude."
He added, "I’ve seen so much love and respect. Sometimes things don’t work out, and sometimes the unexpected just clicks. All I take away from this is to keep working hard, and magic happens.”
The song has also been appreciated for the amazing chemistry between Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra. The song is also sung by Krishnakali Saha and Sachin-Jigar, with lyrics by Sachin-Jigar and lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
Param Sundari is slated to release in the theatres on August 29.
