Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu are one of the beloved celebrity couple of Bollywood. The couple has recently celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary. However, Soha has recently recalled her mother veteran actress Sharmila Tagore’s advice not to get married to an actor.
However, Soha’s elder brother Saif Ali Khan was previously married to actress Amrita Singh and shared two star-kids with her. He then married another actress Kareena Kapoor.
During her latest appearance on The Quizzitok Podcast, Soha recalled her mother’s advice and shared, “She said, ‘Do whatever you want, but never marry an actor.’ She said I would be hugely complicating my life because they (actors) have big egos and mood swings, not only owing to their own success but to others’ success too. Actors are sensitive. So, as a partner to an actor, one has to be a certain way and I think I am that."
However, Soha also reflected on Sharmila Tagore’s parenting and how her husband Kunal knows her better. She shared that her mother “had a few sensitive moments. I, however, am a lot like my father. It takes a lot to push me over the edge.”
Soha further explained about Kunal, “Somehow, Kunal just knows exactly which buttons to press. He is the only one who infuriates me, nobody else; not even my seven-year-old daughter." She added, “Maybe there is some truth to this acting business. You wear your emotions on your sleeve and share your stress with the world. He is very happy afterwards, but all of us are left quaking in the aftermath of his mood swings," she concluded.

Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu started dating in 2009 and got engaged in Paris in 2014. The couple got married on January 25, 2015, in Mumbai and welcomed their daughter, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu, in 2017.
