According to Stree 2's writer Niren, the Maddock supernatural universe has several exciting projects in the works, but he couldn't reveal any specific details. The writer emphasized the importance of all the characters from their films, including Stree, Bhediya, and Munjya. He hinted at plans to expand these characters' stories, although the exact timing and format remain uncertain.
In an interview with Zoom, he further said that in Stree 2, Shraddha Kapoor's character is finally revealed to be Stree's daughter. She even names Rajkummar Rao's character Vicky after her mother. However, the film concludes with Shraddha's mysterious disappearance, leaving fans eager to learn more about her full story.
The film, released on August 15, 2024, is directed by Amar Kaushik. Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee, and Pankaj Tripathi steal the show with their hilarious performances and witty dialogues.
