The classic romantic drama Dhadkan, which first enthralled audiences more than 20 years ago, is about to make a comeback to the big screen, bringing back the allure of Bollywood in the early 2000s.
On May 23, 2025, the beloved movie, which starred Shilpa Shetty, Akshay Kumar, and Suniel Shetty in the main roles, will be re-released in theatres throughout India. This is a part of a special campaign to honour classic Bollywood films by re-screening a few of them in theatres.
Dhadkan, which was directed by Dharmesh Darshan was praised by the audiences because of its stirring tale of devotion, love, and emotional upheaval. The story follows Shilpa Shetty's character, Anjali, as she strikes a careful balance between her marital commitment to Ram (Akshay Kumar) and her previous love, Dev (Suniel Shetty).
