Shanaya Kapoor and Adarsh Gaurav created much buzz after the announcement teaser of their film Tu Yaa Main was released recently. The actors are now prepping to begin filming for it soon.
Shanaya, who is set to make her Bollywood debut, will start shooting with Adarsh for Tu Yaa Main in June.
Helmed by renowned director Bejoy Nambiar, the film is already creating excitement among fans thanks to its unique concept and refreshing lead pairing.
Adarsh said in a statement, "I’m truly thrilled to start working on this film. The shoot for the film starts in June and the work on it has already begun. It’s a completely different genre from what I’ve done before, and that’s what drew me to the project. Collaborating with Bejoy Nambiar, who has such a distinct cinematic voice, and sharing the screen with Shanaya Kapoor makes this even more special. I can’t wait for audiences to experience what we’re creating."
Tu Yaa Main is slated to release in theatres on February 14, 2026. Directed by Bejoy Nambiar and produced under Aanand L Rai’s banner, Colour Yellow Productions, the film features Adarsh Gourav—best known for his roles in The White Tiger, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, and the web series Guns & Gulaabs.
The recently unveiled teaser has already sparked considerable excitement. It opens with Shanaya and Adarsh in a peaceful, picturesque setting that suddenly takes a dramatic turn when a crocodile launches a surprise attack. The gripping sequence has caught the attention of viewers, creating a buzz online, with audiences appreciating the unexpected twist and intense visuals.

Apart from Tu Yaa Main, Shanaya has several projects in her kitty. She will be seen in Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, alongside Vikrant Massey. Shanaya is also working on a period comedy directed by Shujaat Saudagar, titled JC.
