The curtain has fallen on MTV Roadies XX, with the grand finale airing on Sunday, June 1. Emerging as the ultimate champion was Kushal Tanwar from Elvish Yadav’s gang, who not only took home the coveted trophy but also walked away with Rs 10 lakh in prize money and a Hero Karizma bike.
The finale saw a thrilling showdown between the top five contenders—Hartaaj Singh (Gang Prince), Gullu (Gang Elvish), RD (Gang Gautam), Rohit (Gang Rhea), and Rishabh (Gang Neha). Marking his debut season as a gang leader, Elvish Yadav made quite the impact by mentoring the season’s winner.
Proud gang leader Elvish took to his Instagram on Sunday and praised Kushal for his hard work and dedication which led him to win at the end. He penned a note in the caption that read, "I'm completely overwhelmed with emotions right now! I'm thrilled to announce that my brother Kushal Tanwar (Gullu) and I have WON the season of Roadies Double Cross! This journey has been an incredible ride, and I'm so grateful to have shared it with my bro! We did it, Gullu!"
Kushal, who immediately won over the judges with his tenacity and charisma, was abruptly evicted by his own gang. However, he returned as a wildcard entrant and joined Gautam Gulati's team, so his journey didn't end there.
Kushal made the calculated decision to rejoin Elvish Yadav's gang after obtaining a ticket to the final, which ultimately helped him win the title.
Roadies XX was won by Gullu from Gang Elvish, who defeated Hartaaj from Prince's gang, a formidable opponent. Hartaaj's journey was noteworthy even though he wasn't always the crowd favourite. He played the game on his own, without the help of alliances, and week after week demonstrated his mettle with strong performances and solo grit.

"Double Cross" was the theme of the 20th season, and it was fully realised with surprising turns and treachery. Although viewers praised the novel idea, the intense gang leader fights—particularly between Neha Dhupia and Gautam Gulati and Elvish Yadav and Prince Narula—were what kept the drama levels high and the audience interested throughout the season.
