Actor Akshay Oberoi is set to make his South Indian debut with Toxic: A Fairytale for Grownups, starring Yash and directed by Geetu Mohandas. Reflecting on the experience, Akshay called it “amazing” and praised Geetu as one of his favourite directors, lauding her ability to draw spectacular performances and her unique energy.

The highly anticipated movie Toxic: A Fairytale for Grownups, which stars the superstar Yash and was directed by the gifted Geetu Mohandas, is set to mark actor Akshay Oberoi's South Indian film debut.

Akshay, who is renowned for his nuanced and reflective acting, offered some sincere reflections on his experience on the movie and the motivation he received from the director and co-star.

Talking about his time on Toxic, Akshay said it was “amazing.”

As quoted by India Today, he clearly has a lot of admiration for Geetu Mohandas, whose earlier work like Liar’s Dice and Moothon had already impressed him. “I think she’s simply one of my favourite directors I’ve ever worked with. She speaks to me in ways that no other director does. She gets performances out of people that are just spectacular. Her energy is something special,” he said, showing how much their collaboration meant to him.
