Ram Kapoor claims Sakshi Tanwar and Ronit Roy have earned for 'three-four generations'

Television actor Ram Kapoor, who recently starred in Mistry, continues to make headlines for his remarks. The actor has recently revealed how rich some of the prominent television actors have become after starring in popular daily soaps.

In a recent interview with Humans of Bombay, Ram Kapoor has revealed how TV actors like Sakshi Tanwar and Ronit Roy have earned enough for three to four generations. The actor pointed out that while TV actors typically earn less than film actors, a long-running hit show can provide a steady income, essentially guaranteeing a monthly paycheck for several years.

Ram Kapoor said, “When you make it to the top like Ronit Roy, Sakshi, and me, and you are sensible, then you have made enough for your three-four generations. I know Ronit and Sakshi have done this, and they are set for four generations. For 15–20 years, I made a salary cheque of a ridiculously high amount.”

The actor further noted that if one is sensible with their investments, they would be financially secure. He described television as a tough life, saying that success is not guaranteed. He also shared his personal experience, stating that he started with a monthly income of Rs 1500 and had relied on his wife Gautami's income for some time after their marriage.
