Nick Frost transforms into Rubeus Hagrid in first look of HBO's Harry Potter TV series

After unveiling the first look of Harry Potter, played by Dominic McLaughlin, HBO has dropped the second cast photo from the TV adaptation of the iconic film franchise.

HBO has shared the first glimpse of Nick Frost as Hogwarts gamekeeper Rubeus Hagrid in the upcoming Harry Potter television series. The official Instagram handle of HBO shared the photo of the new Hagrid with the caption, "Everyone ready? ‘ere we go! Nick Frost has walked his first day in the big boots of Hagrid on the set of the new HBO Original Harry Potter series."
Robbie Coltrane, who passed away in 2022, previously portrayed the iconic character in the JK Rowling film.

Nick Frost’s look pics came just a day after the makers announced that they have started the production of the film and unveiled the first picture of Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter.

The production of the Harry Potter HBO Original TV series is currently underway at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden in the U.K. The original film franchise was also filmed at the same studio.

The makers have also previously announced some of the additional cast members, including Rory Wilmot as Neville Longbottom, Amos Kitson as Dudley Dursley, Louise Brealey as Madam Rolanda Hooch, and Anton Lesser as Garrick Ollivander.
