For allegedly using copyrighted film footage without permission, the documentary—which offered viewers a glimpse into the actress's personal and professional life—is currently under legal scrutiny.

Legal Notice Regarding Chandramukhi Video

The 2005 blockbuster Chandramukhi's copyright holders, AP International, have sent a legal notice to the documentary's producers alleging that snippets of the movie were used without their permission, according to a report by Cinema Express. The Rajinikanth-Nayanthara film was a huge hit, and the documentary team did not get the necessary permission before using any of its footage.
