My parents' journey has been their own, I am forging my own path, says Masoom 2's Kaveri Kapur, Exclusive!

Kaveri Kapur, the talented actress, recently opened up about her experiences and vision for the future in an exclusive interview with Moneycontrol.com. The conversation primarily focused on her journey in the film industry, her debut, and the exciting opportunity to work on Masoom 2 with her father, the legendary director Shekhar Kapur.

When asked about her experience on the set of Masoom 2, where her father was directing, Kaveri shared her feelings of excitement and the challenges she faced.

"Well, we have not shot yet, but I am already overwhelmed," she admitted. "I mean, I am working with people that are way more experienced than me, but I am also excited because it is an opportunity to learn from them." She also spoke about her father’s approach to directing, saying, "My dad knows me better than anyone else, so I know that he will be able to bring out the best." Kaveri clarified that the set wouldn't be strict, saying, "I do not think it will be a strict set. A professional one, yes, but strict in terms of like, I cannot picture my dad ever telling someone off or telling one of his actors off. I think he understands personalities better than that and so he…"

When asked if she felt any pressure due to being the daughter of such a legendary director, Kaveri responded, "I am enjoying the process. I think if I take on the pressure, then I will probably crumble under the pressure." She further elaborated on her perspective, saying, "No, I think, you know, my parents' journey has been their own and I am forging my own path and to see it as pressure would be, I think, counterproductive. I want to be excited about the life that I am living and the work that I do and so, you know, I feel very lucky to be able to have this opportunity."
