After experiencing an abrupt and severe decline in his health, Humane Sagar, the beloved playback singer from Ollywood, was admitted to the intensive care unit at AIIMS Bhubaneswar and is currently fighting for his life.
The singer was rushed to the hospital in critical condition and is now on ventilator support, as doctors work tirelessly to stabilise him.
Medical sources revealed that Humane is grappling with acute liver complications, which have already caused multiple organs to start malfunctioning.
Despite round-the-clock treatment over the past 24 hours, there has been little improvement, and doctors have described the next 72 hours as absolutely crucial.
As per Deccan Chronicle, overcome with worry, Humane’s mother, Sefali Suna, broke down while appealing to the Odisha government for urgent assistance in ensuring her son receives the best possible care.
“His condition is extremely critical and he is on ventilator support following multiple organ failures. Though treatment is underway, there has been no improvement. I urge the Odisha government and the people of the State to help my son,” she said, her voice filled with anguish.
Depending on how Humane responds to treatment, doctors may consider airlifting him to Delhi or another specialised centre outside Odisha for further care.
His uncle, Gagan Bag, also expressed deep concern: “He has been unwell for several days. He was under treatment in Cuttack before being shifted to AIIMS Bhubaneswar. We request the government to extend all necessary support.”
Dr Suvendu Mishra, a health expert closely monitoring his condition, emphasised the critical nature of the situation: “He is in the ICU of the Medicine Department. His condition is critical and he is on ventilator support. The next 72 hours will be crucial, and further decisions will depend on his response to treatment.”
Humane Sagar has long been an Odisha voice, enthralling crowds with his stage acts and songs. He persisted in performing despite health issues, which is evidence of his commitment and love for music.
