Comedian and Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui has strongly condemned the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, that claimed the lives of 26 people, including two foreigners and two locals. The incident has sent shockwaves across the nation, with citizens and celebrities alike expressing grief and demanding justice.
Taking to Instagram, Munawar shared a post that read, “Find them, Hang them!!!”along with a heartbreak emoji.
His statement, “ढूंढो और फांसी दो,” reflected not only his anguish but also the growing anger among people demanding strict action against the perpetrators. His story was a repost of an update on the tragic attack, where militants targeted a group of tourists.
In his Instagram story, Munawar shared:
“खोजो और उन्हें फांसी दो” (“Find them and hang them”).
His words quickly went viral, sparking strong reactions across social media platforms. While many praised his courage to speak up, a section of users also trolled him, questioning his stand and calling him names.
Several TV celebrities also joined the wave of condemnation. Anupamaa fame Rupali Ganguly called the attack “heartbreaking,” while actress Hina Khan, who hails from Kashmir, posted “क्यों क्यों क्यों?” expressing her deep sorrow and confusion over the senseless violence. Actor Ali Goni and Uttaran actress Rashami Desai also shared emotional reactions, with Rashami posting a heartbroken emoji and the word “Pahalgam.”
The Pahalgam incident has once again highlighted the threat of terrorism in the region. With visuals and sensitive footage of the attack circulating online, the public has taken to the streets, raising slogans like “Pakistan Hai Hai,” demanding strong counteraction from the government.
