Vikrant Massey reveals getting threats for The Sabarmati Report: "It is something that I am dealing with..."

The teaser of The Sabarmati Report has offered audiences a stirring glimpse into a traumatic chapter of history that deeply affected the nation. Lead actor Vikrant Massey, who portrays a pivotal role in the film, has reportedly received threats due to the sensitive nature of the story, which brings lesser-known truths to light.

At a recent trailer launch, Vikrant addressed the subject, sharing his thoughts on the attention and challenges that have come with his role in the film. he said, " "Ji Haan aai hai or Aa rahi hai. But as I said ki hum kalakar hai or Kahaniyaan bolte hai. This film is purely based on facts. It is something that I am dealing with or we as a team collectively are dealing with and I think we will deal with it the way it has to be."

Recently, The Sabarmati Report achieved a significant milestone by launching its first song, Raja Ram, in a unique way—during the Muhurat Trading Bell Ringing Ceremony at the National Stock Exchange. This release marked the first time a film’s song debut coincided with this revered Diwali tradition, a first-of-its-kind event in Indian cinema.
