Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor's big-screen debut, Loveyapa, has made a steady start at the box office following its Friday release. The romantic comedy has managed to collect Rs 2.65 crore net in India within its first two days, according to Sacnilk.
The film opened with Rs 1.15 crore on its first day and saw a slight uptick on Saturday, earning Rs 1.50 crore. While the numbers indicate a modest beginning, the film’s performance in the coming days will determine its overall box office trajectory.
On its second day, Loveyapa saw varied occupancy rates across Hindi (2D) screenings in theaters. Morning shows recorded a modest 6.09% turnout, which improved to 14.09% in the afternoon. Interestingly, there was no reported occupancy for the evening shows, but the numbers picked up significantly at night, reaching 22.86%.

Loveyapa’ is facing tough competition from Himesh Reshammiya’s ‘Badass Ravikumar, which has already earned Rs 4.75 crore in 2 days.
Loveyapa follows the story of a young couple who must prove their trust to the girl's skeptical father by exchanging phones for 24 hours before their wedding. The film, featuring Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor in lead roles, also boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Grusha Kapoor, Ashutosh Rana, Tanvika Parlikar, Kiku Sharda, Devishi Mandan, Aaditya Kulshreshth, Nikhil Mehta, Jason Tham, Yusus Khan, Yuktam Kholsa, and Kunj Anand. Directed by Advait Chandan, Loveyapa is the Hindi remake of 2022 Tamil film Love Today, directed by Pradeep Ranganathan.
