K-pop band BTS has recently dropped a hint about their India debut, sending the fans into a frenzy. According to BigHit Music, the group's agency, BTS will make their first group comeback in three years and nine months on March 20, 2026.
The BTS members have announced their India debut in a personal way. The seven members handed handwritten notes to the houses of their fandom, ARMY, to celebrate the start of the new year.
The letters subtly included the date "2026.03.20," which sparked immediate conjecture and is now officially confirmed, along with sentiments thanking fans for sticking with the group during their break.
Every participant wrote a personal message. Jin praised fans for their patience, while RM remarked that the group had waited "more eagerly than anyone." J-Hope referred to the occasion as the realisation of a long-held desire, Suga encouraged fans to enjoy the year together, and Jimin declared 2026 to be "the year we meet again." V said there will be more and better memories in the future, and Jungkook put it simply: "I miss you."
As a thank you to fans who stayed in touch during BTS's hiatus, the letters were provided as a unique present to ARMY members who had continued to be Weverse members for the previous three years. Later this month, those who did not receive the physical letter will be able to see the messages on Weverse.

The March release will mark BTS's first big group endeavor since the completion of the "Permission to Dance On Stage" tour in April 2022 and their first full-group effort since "Proof" in June 2022. Since then, while fulfilling their required military service in South Korea, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook have worked on individual projects.
Additionally, BTS concluded 2025 with a unique full-group Weverse live, greeting the New Year with fans and wishing for a seamless, prosperous comeback.
BTS is anticipated to begin a massive global tour after the album's release on March 20; specifics will be revealed.
