Khushboo Patani issues clarification, says 'I have made no statement against Premanand Maharaj Ji'

Actress Disha Patani's sister and influencer Khushboo Patani has issued a statement clarifying that her statement was never against spiritual leader Premanand Ji Maharaj and that there is misinformation being spread.

Khushboo, who is a former Army Major, took to her Instagram and issued an official clarification stating she has not made any remarks against the spiritual figure.

She wrote in her statement that some people are trying to spread twisted narratives and clarified that her comments were only directed at a 'misogynistic statement by Anirudh Acharya'.

Khushboo wrote in her statement, "It has come to my notice that a false narrative is being circulated online, mixing my name with revered spiritual figure Premanand Maharaj ji, and spreading baseless claims that I’ve said something about him. Let me make this very clear – I have not made any statement against Premanand Maharaj ji. My words were strictly in response to a misogynistic comment made by Anirudh Acharya, and were directed only at him. It deeply pains me to see people misusing and twisting my words, dragging my name and my family name into something we have nothing to do with," she wrote.

Khushboo reiterated her respect for spiritual traditions and saints and wrote: “Respecting saints and spiritual traditions is something I hold deeply in my heart.” She further warned of taking the legal route against people spreading false information.
