As soon as the photo landed on Reddit, the comments came pouring in. “So, so happy for her... congratulations!” wrote one user. Another added, “My inner 14-year-old fan is screaming with joy.” A third even admitted, “At first glance, I thought it was a throwback to Kareena’s pregnancy — but wow, congratulations!”

Now, according to a report by Bollywood Hungama, Katrina is indeed in her third trimester, and the baby is expected to arrive sometime in October. Just like Virat and Anushka did, it seems Vicky and Katrina are choosing to keep things low-key until the baby arrives.

But where did it all begin?

The speculation dates back to late July, when a video of Katrina and Vicky at a ferry terminal in Mumbai started doing the rounds.

Dressed casually in an oversized white shirt and loose trousers, Katrina’s slow, careful walk had fans doing a double-take. “Is she pregnant?” and “She definitely looks it,” flooded the comments.

Before that, her New Year’s Eve post — where she wore a flowy polka-dot dress — had already sparked rumours, thanks to a now-popular Bollywood fan theory that links the print to pregnancy (thanks to similar looks worn by Anushka Sharma and Deepika Padukone).

Then came a viral fan-made post claiming the couple was expecting their baby in October. Although it was completely speculative and not based on any real source, it briefly set the internet alight before fans jokingly debunked it themselves: “Does Katrina know she’s pregnant?” one comment read.
