After 57 days of shooting, Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday have officially wrapped up their next big film, Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri — and the wrap-up was nothing short of a celebration.
Taking to social media, Kartik shared a heartfelt message along with a behind-the-scenes video filled with dancing, laughter, and a big cake-cutting moment. She shared the video in a collaboration post with Ananya Panday.
“This journey has been an unforgettable, fun-filled, super-fast roller-coaster ride,” Kartik wrote, thanking the incredible team that brought the film to life. From the ever-creative director Sameer Vidwans to producers Shareen Mantri and Kishor Arora, Kartik didn’t hold back on the gratitude. “Energies matter. Vibes matter,” he said — and it’s clear the set was full of both.
He also gave a big shoutout to his co-star Ananya Panday, calling her a “wonderful costar” and adding, “No one else could have brought to life what you did in TMMT.” Their chemistry has fans already buzzing.
This film also marked a special moment for Kartik, as he got to work for the first time with acting legends Jackie Shroff and Neena Gupta. “I can only express my heartfelt gratitude for their blessings and learnings,” he shared.
Another exciting name on the team is writer Karan Sharma, who created Kartik’s character “Ray.” Kartik’s confident fans are going to love Ray even more than his fan-favourite role Sattu from Satyaprem Ki Katha.
Adding a touch of star power, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Bhumika Bhandula, and Adar Poonawalla also visited the set — a moment Kartik said made the wrap day “all the more special.”
Wrapping up his message, Kartik told fans, “Can’t wait for you all to laugh, smile, and fall in love. See you at the theatres!”
The film, which is titled Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, will be directed by Sameer Vidwans, who Kartik previously collaborated with on Satyaprem Ki Katha. This is the first movie that Kartik and Karan Johar are working on together.
Dharma Productions had previously declared that Dostana 2 would be released in 2019 but the COVID-19 pandemic had caused the project's filming to halt. Reports of the actor and filmmaker's falling out started to circulate while the production company had not yet started filming again.
