Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, Yash Raj Films pay their actors less, claims actor Vikram Kapadia

Many aspiring actors from across India move to Mumbai with a dream of making it big in Bollywood and eventually getting to work with Yash Raj Films and Dharma Productions.

But now a character actor Vikram Kapadia has called out the two production houses and termed them 'egoistical'. Vikram has worked with both YRF and Dharma productions and said the production houses pay their actors less.

Vikram Kapadia has worked in films and shows like Made In Heaven, Yoddha, The Night Manager, and The Archies. In his interview with Bollywood Now, Vikram said: "Yash Raj and Dharma have this ego that we are Yash Raj and Dharma so we will pay you a little less but you should be happy because we are paying you. I think they do that with everyone. I think that’s why actors are concerned."

Vikram said there is never any delay on payment from the production houses. "Yash Raj paid me well as a writer but hoga na kahi pe that hum Yash Raj hain. You are getting a role, they are giving you a break. So maybe the value is a little less but they never delay in payment,” he added.
