After the massive success, the makers gave a green light to Kantara: Chapter 1 and have recently released a special poster, creating a buzz among the fans. Production house Hombale Films has recently celebrated World Environment Day with a special poster of the upcoming instalment.
The poster was accompanied by the caption, “Let's protect the forests that protect us. They are our spirit, our strength, our story. Let's vow to preserve them, for us and for generations to come. #WorldEnvironmentDay #KantaraChapter1.”
The poster features a captivating aerial view of a dense forest shrouded in mist, symbolising the mystical and spiritual connection between nature and the story's core theme.
The poster also revealed that the upcoming film will be produced by Vijay Kiragandur and Chaluve Gowda under the Hombale Films banner. Rishab Shetty will serve as writer, director and actor in the film, which will be released in Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Bengali, and English.
Kantara explore the theme of forest conservation and showcases how the forest serves as a habitat for many people and is protected by Panjurli, a demigod.
The upcoming multilingual fantasy action film Kantara: Chapter 1 is expected to be set during the reign of the Kadambas of Banavasi. The film will hit the theatres on October 2, 2025.
