Kannappa release date: Vishnu Manchu, Prabhas, Mohanlal starrer mythological film to release on THIS date

Vishnu Manchu's upcoming mythological drama, Kannappa has finally dropped its official release date after much wait. The star-studded film will be release in June this year.

The makers of the film unveiled a new poster of the film on April 10, Thursday on Instagram featuring Vishnu Manchu, Akshay Kumar, Mohanlal, Prabhas, and others as their respective characters.

Kannappa is set to hit the theatres on June 27, 2025. Initially it faced delays due to VFX and special edits but the makers have finally locked in the release date .

The caption along with poster read, "Mark your calendars! The legend of #Kannappa hits the big screen on 27th June! A powerful tale of spiritual courage and immortal legacy is coming to life. Get ready to witness a visual spectacle that will move your soul! Har Har Mahadev Har Ghar Mahadev."

Earlier on Wednesday, Vishnu Manchu along with Prabhu Deva, Mohan Babu and Vinay Maheshwar met with Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He launched the release date announcement poster of the film. During their visit, CM Adityanath gracefully signed the Kannappa's poster and conveyed his hearty wishes to the entire team, hoping for the film’s big success.
