Kajol pens an emotional Father's Day tribute for her late dad Shomu Mukherjee, "he used to call me his tigress"

Bollywood actress Kajol, who is gearing up for her upcoming film Maa, penned an emotional Father’s Day tribute to her late father, Shomu Mukherjee. She expressed gratitude towards her father for instilling confidence in her also recalled that her father used to call her his tigress.

The actress shared a throwback photo with her father and revealed how her late dad encouraged her to express herself loudly and proudly without a filter.

She wrote in the caption, “Confidence is the one thing people say I have in abundance.. here’s to the man who gave it to me and taught it to me .. he used to call me his tigress and always told me to be as loud and proud as I wanted without a filter!”
Kajol also noted that it was his birthday that week and felt it fitting that Father's Day fell close to his birthday. She penned, “It’s his birthday this week as well and somehow it seems appropriate that father’s day comes so close to his birthday.”

The actress concluded her post by adding hashtags, “#loveyouda #missyoueveryday #happyfathersday.”
