Bollywood actor Jaideep Ahlawat has recently shared his excitement after former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar praised his acting. The god of cricket recently joined Reddit and hosted an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session and answered several fans’ questions.
One fan asked Sachin, “Jaideep Ahlawat has spoken a lot about you. What do you think about his works?” However, his response sent Jaideep into a frenzy.
Sachin Tendulkar responded, “He is a fantastic actor and I love his work. Hathiram in Paatal Lok was amazing.” The cricketer’s response took the actor by surprise, and he shared his excited reaction on his social media.
Jaideep took to his Instagram Story and shared a screenshot of Sachin Tendulkar’s praise for his performance. The actor reacted to the praise and wrote, “Sir…Aise mat karo. Koi khushi se pagal bhi ho sakta hai (Don't do this. One can go mad with happiness).”
He continued, “Thank you so much, sir. Will cherish this all my life," adding multiple red hearts and shy monkey emojis.
He continued sharing his excitement on his next Instagram Story and penned, “Kahin main Sapna to nahi dekh raha (I am not dreaming at all).”
He added, “Thank you, sir." He also tagged Paatal Lok’s director, Avinash Arun, writer Sudip Sharma, and the streaming partner of the show, Prime Video, in his post.

Jaideep received praise for his performance in Paatal Lok from the viewers as well. The actor also received the Best Actor – Web Series award at the 2025 Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) for his performance as Inspector Hathiram Chaudhary in Paatal Lok Season 2.
The thriller series revolves around a police officer who is assigned the case of an assassination attempt on a journalist. When the four suspects flee, the officer pursues them and lands in the netherworld, Paatal Lok.
